Historical EXHIBIT DESIGN Connecting audiences to the past, present, and future of Tompkins CountY

Initially engaged for Exhibit Planning and Concept Design, Tessellate engineered an ADA-compliant, modular physical system for artifact display alongside a flexible, custom software platform built to power interactive exhibits and centralize digital management for thousands of collection assets. Demonstrating exceptional performance across design, technical execution, media production, and project governance, Tessellate was awarded the Prime Contract for end-to-end exhibit design and delivery. In this expanded role, Tessellate finalized detailed exhibit specifications, produced custom media and graphic assets, and directed the full production team.

Throughout the project lifecycle, Tessellate maintained a close partnership with representatives of the Cayuga Nation (Gayogo̱hó:nǫ), the indigenous community of Tompkins County, to develop custom animations and a dedicated feature exhibition honoring their past, present, and future. The transformed museum experience yielded measurable market impact, driving a 300% surge in total visitation following its relocation.
